Building work is now underway on the Child Care Facility – Ecokids@TradeCoast. The Centre will consist of a Baby World catering for ages 0 – 2.5yrs and an Early Childhood Centre for ages 2.5 – 5yrs.

In December 2011 TradeCoast Central completed work on what is now the largest facility in the Estate. The 26,500m2 Distribution Centre is home to Reece – Australia’s most successful supplier of plumbing and bathroom products.

The facility includes a Trade Sales which will open to the public mid- year along with state of the art transport facilities to assist in delivering some of the thousands of stocked products to their 400 stores Australia wide.

Reece have spent the first part of the year stocking the extensive warehouse – a huge job by any standard.

Sasgar at TradeCoast Central

A new Workshop, Showroom and Fire Fighting support facility has recently been completed at TradeCoast Central for Sasgar Pty Ltd.
Sasgar, are a true Australian success story. The McEwen family have been involved with the manufacture, sales and support of fire fighting vehicles since 1950 and are now the sole agent and representative office for Rosenbauer covering Australia New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Over the last five years Sasgar have supplied more than 85 Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicles – a number they expect to surpass in their new purpose built facility.

Energex at TradeCoast Central

Energex at TradeCoast Central becomes the first Green Star Industrial Version 1 rated building in Australia!

TradeCoast Central recently completed the Energex Distribution Centre which has received the first Green Star Industrial Rating  in Australia. The 17,000m2 facility houses Energex Transformers and Project Stock. The facility was recently opened by The Honourable Stephen Robertson.

EB Games was completed 21st June 2011 – 5 weeks ahead of Program. Racking and Fitout is now underway as they prepare for a full transition in July. TradeCoast welcomes EB Games  to the community.

All construction drawings for the coffee shop/food outlet have been completed and we are waiting for development approval before commencing refurbishment work on the southern heritage listed building in Amy Johnson Place in which the coffee shop will be located. We are aiming to have this work completed by third quarter this year and are currently interviewing applicants to operate the cafe. A perspective of the building is attached.

The northern heritage listed building will be refurbished at the same time and will become the estate management office which will relocate from its existing “office” in the services precinct at the southern end of the estate.
